We are Lisanne and Edouard, settled since 2021 in Jujurieux in Bugey. We operate a 4-hectare hillside of vines, isolated, with the only neighbors being the forest and the sheep meadows. Our little corner of paradise. Since the installation, we have been working organically. In conversion to organic farming, we will be certified in 2024. In the vineyard, weeds are spontaneous and abundant between the rows of vines. We practice plowing at the foot of the vines to reduce competition from the grass for water and nutrients. We work there using a crawler, an essential companion on our steep slopes. It also allows us to reduce soil compaction linked to mechanization. The base of the vine treatments are composed of copper/sulfur then supplemented by plant preparations (nettle, horsetail, comfrey, yarrow, etc.) which allow us to reduce the use of phytosanitary products. The harvest is done manually for a better quality of the grapes and more precision in the juices. In the cellar, the fermentations are spontaneous. We do not use any oenological inputs except sulfur in homeopathic doses, if necessary. It is the air resistance tests that we do that give us information on the stability of the wines. If an obvious fragility is felt, add sulfur before bottling (max 1.5 g for 100 liters of wine). From 2018, Lisanne began her adventure in wine by buying AB certified grapes from winegrower friends and then vinifying them. This trading activity is still part of our domain and allows us to vinify atypical cuvées with grape varieties different from ours and that we love.

Nous sommes Lisanne et Edouard, installés depuis 2021 à Jujurieux dans le Bugey.
Nous exploitons un coteau de 4 hectares de vigne, isolé, avec comme seuls voisins la forêt et les prés à moutons. Notre petit coin de paradis.
Depuis l’installation, nous travaillons en bio. En conversion vers l’agriculture biologique, nous serons certifiés en 2024.
A la vigne, les enherbements sont spontanés et abondant entre les rangs de vignes. Nous pratiquons le labour au pied des ceps pour réduire la concurrence de l’herbe en eau et en nutriments.
On y travaille à l’aide d’un chenillard, compagnon indispensable dans nos fortes pentes. Il nous permet également de réduire le tassement des sols lié à la mécanisation.
La base des traitements de la vigne sont composé de cuivre/souffre puis complétés par des préparations de plantes (ortie, prêle, consoude, achillée..) qui nous permettent de réduire l’utilisation de produit phytosanitaires.
Les vendanges se font manuellement pour une meilleur qualité des raisins et plus de précisions dans les jus.
A la cave, les fermentions sont spontanées. Nous n’utilisons aucuns intrants œnologiques excepté du soufre en doses homéopathique, si ça s’avère nécessaire.
Ce sont les tests de tenu à l’air que nous faisons qui nous donnes les informations sur la stabilité des vins. Si une fragilité évidente se fait sentir, on met du soufre avant la mise en bouteille (max 1,5 g pour 100 litres de vin).
A partir de 2018, Lisanne a commencé son aventure dans le vin en achetant des raisins certifié AB chez des copains vigneron pour ensuite les vinifié. Cette activité de négoce fait toujours parti de notre domaine et nous permet de vinifier des cuvées atypiques avec des cépages différent des nôtres et qu’on adore.
