Domaine Chandon de Briailles, located in Savigny-Lès-Beaune in the Côte d'Or, has been a family estate since 1934 and produces organic, biodynamic wines certified Demeter. The vines are located in the communes of Savigny-Lès-Beaune, Pernand-Vergelesses and Aloxe-Corton, for a total area of 14 hectares. Tillage is carried out exclusively with Franche-Comté horses, sulfur treatments against powdery mildew have been replaced by skimmed milk treatments, copper doses have been reduced to 1.5 Kg. per Ha. The other treatments are carried out with plants (nettles, valerian, horsetail, wicker, etc.) The wines are vinified in whole harvest and raised without SO², entirely by gravity, they are bottled after 18 to 30 months. Some are bottled without added SO², others receive 2g/Hl. at the time of blending one month before bottling.
