After 10 years of work in the restaurant business, I wanted to get closer to the land. After 7 years of the 'Berlinale' film festival I wanted to get closer to the earth. As we approached the earth we had a lovely encounter in the vineyard. A Belgian, a German in the French vineyards of the Agly valley ... It was obvious to work our vines with great respect for the land and to make wine with respect for the fruit and the man. My first contact with the lands of the Agly valley was thanks to the wines of Fréderic Rivaton. After a little pruning and the harvest we decided to stay in this valley and in 2020 we settled in Montner. We vinify 3 hectares of vines. The vines are mainly found in Montner on schists, a plot of Mourvèdre in the town of Rasiguères on clay We want to get closer to an old-fashioned way of working, and with knowledge of the old days and now. We harvest by hand in 12 kg boxes. The reds are mostly vatted in whole bunches, lightly crushed depending on the year and vintage. Depending on the year and the vat, the reds are aged in old barrels. The rosé is directly pressed, fermentation in stainless steel and 75% aging in old barrels between 3 and 6 months.
