Man of the earth that I am and from whom I descend, our earth is for me the first concern. Our vineyard, in the direct vicinity of the state house, extends over a little over 2 hectares.

Cultivated for more than ten years without herbicides, insecticides or mineral fertilizers, our parchets (plots of land) benefit from a rich fauna and flora within which the vine finds a privileged place. Indeed, the experience acquired over the last ten years shows that it is entirely possible to take care of everyone for the benefit of all.

A harmony and balance that is difficult to manage or even achieve, the important thing is to take the path. A path which also involves the diversification of the grape varieties cultivated, today around ten, among which the traditional Chasselas retains a place of choice.
Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer and Marsanne complete our palette of white grape varieties in an original way. The red grape varieties appreciate our location and our altitude. Pinot Noir and Gamay were the first to settle there to give birth to our Charmillon vintage, in 1962. Then came Plant-Robert, Gamaret, Garanoir, Syrah and Merlot. They have all taken up residence in our plots depending on the nature of each soil.

The domain

The terraced vineyard of Lavaux, a wine-growing region in the canton of Vaud (Switzerland), has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2007. At the heart of it, Domaine Piccard dominates the Lake Geneva basin and enjoys a breathtaking panorama. Breathtaking.
