Created in 2009 on the Saumur Champigny appellation in Dampierre-sur-Loire (originally on 1ha in Cabernet Franc) by Loïc Terquem, formerly IT manager, after a year of training at the Montreuil-Bellay wine school, and an internship at Mathieu Vallee (Castle Yvonne). The name of the estate is composed of that of one of the first 3 plots named "La Folie" (which could also sum up the choice to decide to leave Paris to try to make wine without having any particular link with this environment or this region) and the initials of the first names of our 2 sons Lucas and César The estate now has 6.0 ha of vines, certified organic since 2009, spread over 16 plots, including 5.2 ha of Cabernet Franc and 80 ares of Chenin. The subsoils of Saumur are essentially limestone, covered either with clay, sandy silt or more or less deep sand. The harvest is carried out by hand, and the wines are neither yeasted nor seeded. The plots are vinified separately to better reveal the terroirs, in concrete vats, then depending on the cuvées the wines are aged either in concrete vats, in barrels or in sandstone jars. The fermentations are carried out as much as possible without sulphites, with a little sulfur being added at bottling. My objectives: to produce sincere wines, reflecting the grape variety, the terroir and the vintage.

Créé en 2009 sur l’appellation Saumur Champigny à Dampierre-sur-Loire (à l’origine sur 1ha en cabernet franc) par Loïc Terquem, anciennement responsable informatique, après une année de formation au lycée viticole de Montreuil-Bellay, et un stage chez Mathieu Vallée
(Château Yvonne).
Le nom du domaine est composé de celui d’une des 3 premières parcelles nommée «La Folie» (qui pourrait aussi résumer le choix de décider quitter Paris pour essayer de faire du vin sans avoir aucun lien particulier avec ce milieu ni cette région) et des initiales des prénoms de nos 2 fils Lucas et César
Le domaine comporte aujourd’hui 6,0 ha de vignes, certifiées en bio depuis 2009, réparties sur 16 parcelles dont en 5,2 ha de cabernet franc et 80 ares de chenin.
Les sous-sols du Saumurois sont essentiellement calcaires, recouverts soit d’argiles, soit de limons sableux soit de sables plus ou moins profonds.
Les vendanges sont effectuées à la main, et les vins ne sont ni levurés ni ensemencés.
Les parcelles sont vinifiées séparément pour mieux révéler les terroirs, en cuves béton, puis selon les cuvées les vins sont élevés soit en cuves béton, soit en barriques soit en jarres en grès.
Les fermentations sont effectuées autant que possible sans sulfites, un peu de soufre étant ajouté à la mise en bouteille.
Mes objectifs : produire des vins sincères, reflétant le cépage, le terroir et le millésime.
