Tenuta Baroni Campanino is a place with an elegant and
delicate. It was born in Assisi, among the green hills of the Monte park
Subasio, in a vast territory that includes three
structures: The Table of the Knights, the farmhouse "Le Case" and the old one
Monastery of San Biagio. Each of the structures was created to share
with guests who cross the beauties, their ancient history and
the nature of the place.
The vast vineyards that surround the territory are located and distributed
in the different places of our estate. The Table of the Knights is the
structure located at a higher altitude, located at 900 meters high e
it includes almost one hectare of Sangiovese vineyards. Inside it is located
also a pig and sheep farm, from which products of
Prime quality.
Tenuta Baroni Campanino was founded in 2006 on the hills of the Apennines
Umbrian, behind the city of Assisi. The company takes its name from
Baroni Campanino, an ancient and noble family of the Kingdom of Naples,
today a constant source of inspiration to pass on its values and
philosophy in the meticulous care of the territory.
A place of charm and beauty, where attention is paid to the aspects
peculiar and characteristic of the place is highlighted in each
detail: in genuine food, in biodynamic wine production e
in the organization of recreational activities within the estate.
The exclusive location, the elegant facilities and the high-end products
quality, make the estate an ideal and suggestive place also for
the organization of events
The Campanino vineyards are located between 500m and 900m above sea level,
on the mountains of the Umbrian Apennines, within the protected area
of the park of Mount Subasio. This particular and unique positioning,
tells the story of an adventure: heroic viticulture. With this
term refers to a type of cultivation carried out in
extreme conditions characterized by the high slope of the land
compared to traditional crops. These slopes at Tenuta Baroni
Campanino are extremely prohibitive: the lowest point of one of the
vineyards is located 500 meters high with a discrepancy in height
compared to the highest point of about 100 meters: in these vineyards it is
it is necessary to intervene manually for cultivation, since the
conditions of sloping land do not allow the passage of
agricultural machinery. To act on the condition of height difference caused
from the slope, we intervened by creating steps, anchor points or
using ropes and sticks. All this gave life to ours
heroism.
We have dedicated ten hectares to vineyards to produce a wine that can
tell its particular story every year, aiming to create a
healthy habitat that allows the vineyard to grow in symbiosis with the
nature, intervening only if necessary. Our vineyards are cultivated
with the fundamentals of Biodynamics, respecting the certificate
Biological; interventions in the vineyard and in the cellar respect the phases
lunar and the temperatures of fermentation and refinement never come
controlled, leaving nature the task of expressing the
maximum potential of wines. All our viticulture revolves around
to the complex union of various pedo-climatic characteristics: altitude,
light, soil and the presence of natural biodiversity generate the vocation
to the harmony that is expressed by the naturalness of the place. Minus a
