After working with his father in the family estate, Mikaël Bouges, organic viticulturalist since the early 2000s, moved to Faverolles-sur-Cher in 2005 to start his own vineyard. His estate now has 8 hectares where he cultivates different grape varieties including Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin, Gamay, Rib and Cabernet Franc. All the plots of the estate are cultivated as naturally as possible, without weedkiller, without chemical fertilizers or synthetic products while respecting the methods of organic farming and biodynamics. Harvesting and manual pruning, indigenous yeasts and limited use of sulphites, needless to say.
