The crazy venture of two friends, a lawyer and an architect on their quest for the best. Their goal is to produce natural terroir wines in Kőszeg, from Kékfrankos vines planted in historic vineyards. Their wines are spontaneously fermented and are bottled unfiltered, unfined, with minimal sulphur or non at all. They work according to the principles of organic and biodynamic farming observing the rhythm of nature. Their wines are made with minimal intervention and are matured in used barrels or tanks: they believe that the oak can only frame the wine. The wines are bottled by gravity. Their Kékfrankos wines are energic and elegant, highly concentrated, with plenty of fruits and good acidity.

Our vision of trade is to find those consumers, who are interested in natural terroir wines. We sell half of our bottles in Hungary, the other abroad (Netherlands; USA – in the USA, we use the brand name, Sine Compromisso). Our wines are available in top restaurants (like the Michelin Star restaurant Salt in Budapest, etc.), natural wine bars (like Huncutka) and a few specialty stores.
Our wine making technology is very simple: we carefully handpick the best grapes in the vineyard.
Our philosophy is that we only pick healthy grapes which we would like to eat. After a gentle destemming, in most of the cases, we apply cold maceration. Thereafter, the spontaneous fermentation starts. We leave the wine on skin 4 week long (with a few exemptions). The wine gets into used barrels with lees. After the spontaneous malolactic fermentation, we pick the wine from
the lees. The wine stays in used barrels or plastic tanks until we bottle it, without filtration. We do not use sulphur when filling up the wine. We fill up the wines in our own cellar, with gravitation.
We only work on our own vineyards, do not buy any grapes. All our vineyards are registered with Biokontroll Nonprofit Kft. (a Hungarian company which provides bio certificates).
