Visits possible, contact 0620544825. Kambyum is a small “estate”, 4ha of vines at the foot of the north face of the Luberon in Oppède (84). A story that begins in 2021 and is gradually being written. The plots which today offer their grapes were fallow, they were lucky not to see humans and even less tractors for a few years. Slowly they come back to life, with gentle and deliberately minimalist practices. From pruning to harvest, everything is done to leave the plant peaceful and allow it to give its best. The rare treatments used are Organic or Biodynamic. The harvest is manual and joyful (it still hurts the back!), in the cellar the crushing and presses are manual. The wines live on their own, native yeast and no magic powders to ward off fears... just presence, patience and energy.
