The 2016 vintage was a fairly challenging vintage for Gut Oggau. Usually they produce two different rosé wines: the mystique Josephine and the cheeky Winfried. In 2016 early spring was embossed by hail and frost leading to a 60% reduction in yield. Hibiscus on the nose, electric cranberries and green apple on the palate. Truly stunning and super fun to drink.
