This is the domaine bottling, which (I believe) gets more SO2. Somewhat closed, but would have been tasty if the 50% new oak didn’t interfere.
Pure expression de pinot noir, fruit dense, immense, complexe. Une belle trame acidulée nous accompagne pour découvrir les subtils tanins de ce cru si rare. Une bombe !
Really stunning aromatics, too bad it uses 50% new wood (and it shows).
