Tavkveri - Kvemo Kartli - Kvemo Kartli
Summer evening in the tavern The Tavkveri grape is late ripening, therefore very rich in sugar and is mainly grown in Kartli. As a nuance game between juiciness, acidity and a slight bitter note, this strong, dark rosé wine tells its tasteful story of wild strawberries, sour cherry and bitter orange. The light mineral acidity harmonizes wonderfully with the unobtrusive but present tannins and gives the wine a full-flavoured body which is hardly found in a rosé. It’s no coincidence that the winemaker gave it eight months to mature in Qvevri.
