First taste was a mix of bitter and acidic. I took the second sip after 3 minutes and already the wine livened up and it was easy to detect 5 different kinds of mixed flavors. Bitter and acidic still present, a slight sweetness and tanginess was added and the experience was superb.
Old vines, old oak gives this full-bodied and full cherry taste. Strong and astringent taste.
Gentle earth tones and strawberry pushing through the initially reductive nose. A modern and easy drinking Sangiovese blend.
