This is an orange wine, not a white wine!
One of the more honest expressions of Roero Arneis I’ve tasted so far. Mostly stainless steel-aged Arneis, but also a small percentage of slightly riper, big barrel-aged Arneis - both coming from Arneis parcels in front and at the back of the Valfaccenda Cascina. Luca is precise, correct and sincere, just like his wines. Round notes of green apple, fresh citrus, some vague hints of hay and ripe grape, but mostly rondeur, calmness and elegance.
A mineral clear white with loads of apple. Reminds me of a natural cider i had before that kicked ass.
