Bright but earthy. Liked it a lot but probably wouldn’t buy again. I’m excited to have tasted it.

8.0 / $28 / very dark color, but surprisingly medium to light tannins. A little bitterness, which is actually really nice against its juicy fruity yumminess. The dark color is really deceptive, i expected some serious grip. I opened this with more chill on it than i should have. Letting it come to temp and open up does a lot for it. Chris Brockway makes the kind of red wines i like to drink. Im admittedly not the biggest red wine drinker. Living in Texas drinking big red wines isn't super enjoyable in 100 degree heat. But broc reds work in this state. You can look like a tough guy and drink dark red wine in 100 degree heat with this shit. What am i talking about? Apparently you get a little buzz also... it's good.

Floral and peppery one the nose like a Syrah, drinkable and deep like a top Gamay, outstanding!

Carbonic black raspberry, great with Korean short ribs!
