A dry skin-contact wine from the Burgenland. Graupert translates to “scruffy person” and this wine certainly is scruffy. Tag it under weird and wonderful, with medium acidity, aromatic to boot, with big fruit-foreword notes at the beginning but ending in a dry, caramel-y smoke note on the back end.

This is exciting! Very orange color and a bit fizzy. Notes of grapefruit, apples, apricot. Lots of volatile acids, which makes its very interesting! Totally grapefruit in the mouth as well with bitterness. Some minerals as well with subtle acidity. Really good!
Un vin orange déconcertant !!!
Tangerine, lime zest, honeysuckle and perfect hint of farmhouse funk from the farm. Highly recommend.
