The wine is made with handpicked organic merlot, ferments naturally and spends 12 months in old oak barrels. Very rich and savory taste, some earthy and spicy aromas too. Not overpowering but nice red fruit characters and good structure.
Dark untransparent red colour. Nose violet, blackcurrant and other berries. Perhaps tar. Taste blackcurrant with fresh current leaves. Aftertaste ash. It has heavy qualities but mouthfeel is light and fresh.
C’est riche. C’est dense. C’est puissant. Et ça tient la longueur. Un Bordeaux bien fait, un Carsin bien beau !
