In Tulette, in the South of Drôme, after fifteen years of winemaking experience in an organic domain, our story begins with the acquisition in 2012 of an old farm and Grenaches around it. We have 5.5 hectares of vines, 15 ares of Mourvèdre, a plot of grape varieties planted with Alicante, Clairette Blanche and Rose, Aramon, Carignan and the rest with Grenache. The adjoining vines are cultivated organically, in permanent grass. We work with herbal teas and fermented extracts. On a one-hectare plot, in 2022 we planted 60 ares of different grape varieties (Cinsault, Counoise, Piquepoul blanc, Picardan blanc, Bourboulenc blanc) in agroforestry. We have created hedges around the plot. Happy to be able to share the love of the land, the vines..., the generous and lively wines. All these intense moments make our wine above all the wine of friends to share without moderation! The grapes are harvested by hand in crates on our plots aged between 40 and 80 years old. We trample on the crates. The grapes are vinified in stainless steel vats: native yeasts, no inputs, no added sulphites, with the exception of a slight sulphiting of less than 15 mg/l at bottling for Les Chibanettes 2018 and Fleur de Carotte 2018. Bottling is done by gravity with a 4-nozzle filler and a hand capper. We label manually with a Nantaise. In order to reduce our environmental impact, we have chosen to reuse bottles with “My bottle is called reviens” in Chabeuil(26). Reuse saves 75% energy, 33% water. We have made the choice of re-employment at the national level. Several reuse associations exist in France, can recover and wash our bottles to put them back in the circuit. Only bottles that have the “Bring me back for reuse” logo are reusable. We hope that this approach will make its way!
