GRAWÜ is the combination of our surnames: Leila GRAsselli and Dominic WÜrth. It seemed nice to be able to have a name that represents us. Our cellar is not just a wine cellar, it is a family project that wants to reflect the taste and beauty of this Alpine area in a simple and sincere way. The idea is to experiment and discover new horizons; the fact of not being originally from this area is in some ways difficult, but it offers us the great opportunity to be free to create unique wines of great character. Our goal is to bring the true taste of grapes into the glass. Go to the essentials. Finding the history of a place and the people who take care of it in a sip of wine. We do not use selected yeasts, nor other oenological products or techniques that could influence the wine in its natural development. Sulfur dioxide is limited to a maximum of 50 mg/l, unfiltered. The grapes come from our vineyard and from small suppliers located between Bolzano and Trento. In 2018 we received organic certification. We currently produce approx. 20,000bt per year and the goal is to reach approx. 25,000 so as not to lose sight of the raw material.
