Pierre Andrey and his companion Florence do not make wine like the others. Originally from Franche-Comté, Pierre is still a winemaker only part time since he works in medical equipment during the week in Luxembourg. The couple has invested a lot in this challenge and we see the importance of being two in this kind of adventure. Pierre is a passionate, epicurean, perfectionist, using his scientific mind, constantly thinking about his practices and extremely attentive to the one who speaks to him to allow him to go even further in his reflection. It is partly through contact with winemaker friends (Bruno Schueller, Alexandre Jouveaux) that the step was taken in 2015 for the first vintage. Pierre has some parcels of Pinot Noir in Vaux close to Metz but he also has fun to vinify the organic grapes of others in Alsace, Jura and Beaujolais (Chardonnay, Riesling, Auxerrois, Gewurtz, Gamay, ...). All the wines are vinified without any input and raised in demijohn at the beginning especially for logistical questions but I think rather that it became a definitive choice.

Originaire de Franche-Comté, Pierre n’est encore vigneron qu’à temps partiel puisqu’il travaille dans les équipements médicaux en semaine au Luxembourg. Le couple s’est énormément investi dans ce défi et on voit toute l’importance d’être à deux dans ce genre d’aventure.
Pierre est un passionné, épicurien, perfectionniste, utilisant son esprit scientifique, sans cesse en réflexion sur ses pratiques et extrêmement à l’écoute de celui qui lui parle pour lui permettre d’aller encore plus loin dans sa réflexion.
C’est en partie au contact d’amis vigneron (Bruno Schueller, Alexandre Jouveaux) que le pas est franchi en 2015 pour le premier millésime.
Pierre dispose de quelques parcelles de Pinot Noir à Vaux proche de Metz mais il s’éclate aussi à vinifier le raisins bio des autres en Alsace, Jura et Beaujolais (Chardonnay, Riesling, Auxerrois, Gewurtz, Gamay,…).
Tous les vins sont vinifiés sans aucun intrant et élevés en dame-jeanne au départ surtout pour des questions logistiques mais je pense plutôt que c’est devenu un choix définitif.
