Between a few glasses, good hours of conversation, research and passion for wine, the CASA VICCAS project was born.

What was initially supposed to be a documentary, turned into a wine production. Produced on a small scale, artisanally and made in the most natural way possible: only fermented from grapes.
The same wine that our ancestors made for family consumption.

In 2019, the first vinifications were made. small and always with wild yeast. These are microvinifications with an average of 300 bottles per variety. In addition to wine, sparkling wines “pét-nats” and a little vinegar.

Casa Viccas is located in the city of Serafina Corrêa, located between valleys and mountains of the Serra Gaúcha, Rio Grande do Sul - Brazil. The location is a family farm where there is a small and ancient vineyard with varieties of white, red, rosé, vinifera and American grapes coexisting harmoniously.
Green pasture, Bordeaux syrup (copper sulphate) and some preparations Biodynamic are the techniques used to care for the vines, however the vineyard does not have certification.

Some grape varieties are acquired from small producers who work with family farming close to the city.

The name Casa Viccas is a tribute to the ancient guardians of the terroir where the winery is located. localized. Previously, the space belonged to a man called Ludovicco, who had five daughters. These daughters helped with domestic tasks and also with the economic development of the small property. Women with strong personalities became known as Vicco's daughters, or popularly called Viccas.

The five women never married or had children. They rarely appeared publicly and for this reason several stories and some legends emerged around them. The best known is; that the Viccas were witches. For this reason, many people were afraid of the five mysterious women.

Strong, independent and powerful, the witches, or simply the Viccas, dedicated themselves their entire lives to work and love to land.

With this same philosophy, Sara and Vivian seek to make authentic work, as they say, “sincere wines made with love”.

O que a princ&iacute;pio era para ser um document&aacute;rio, se transformou em uma produ&ccedil;&atilde;o de vinho. Produzido em pequena escala, de modo artesanal e feito da forma mais natural poss&iacute;vel: somente fermentado de uvas. O mesmo vinho que os antepassados faziam para consumo familiar.

S&atilde;o microvinifica&ccedil;&otilde;es com uma m&eacute;dia de 300 garrafas por variedade. A Casa Viccas fica na cidade de Serafina Corr&ecirc;a, situada entre vales e montanhas da serra ga&uacute;cha, Rio Grande do Sul - Brasil. O local &eacute; um s&iacute;tio da fam&iacute;lia onde existe um pequeno e antigo vinhedo com variedades de uvas brancas, tintas, rosadas, vin&iacute;feras e americanas convivendo harmoniosamente. Pastagem verde, calda bordalesa (sulfato de cobre) e alguns preparados biodin&acirc;micos s&atilde;o as t&eacute;cnicas utilizadas para o cuidado com as vinhas, por&eacute;m o vinhedo n&atilde;o possui certifica&ccedil;&atilde;o.
Algumas variedades de uva s&atilde;o adquiridas com pequenos produtores que trabalham com agricultura familiar pr&oacute;ximos da cidade.
O nome Casa Viccas &eacute; uma homenagem as antigas guardi&atilde;s do terroir onde a vin&iacute;cola est&aacute; localizada. Antigamente, o espa&ccedil;o pertencia a um senhor chamado Ludovicco, que tinha cinco filhas. Essas filhas ajudavam nas tarefas dom&eacute;sticas e tamb&eacute;m no desenvolvimento econ&ocirc;mico da pequena propriedade. Mulheres de personalidades fortes, ficaram conhecidas como as filhas do Vicco, ou popularmente chamadas de Viccas.
As cinco mulheres nunca se casaram e nem tiveram filhos. Pouco apareciam publicamente e por esse motivo diversas hist&oacute;rias e algumas lendas surgiram no entorno delas. A mais conhecida &eacute; que as Viccas eram bruxas. Por esse motivo, muitas pessoas nutriam medo das cinco mulheres misteriosas. &nbsp;&nbsp; Fortes, independentes e poderosas, as bruxas, ou simplesmente as Viccas, dedicaram-se uma vida inteira ao trabalho e ao amor &agrave; terra.&nbsp;
Com essa mesma filosofia, Sara e Vivian procuram fazer um trabalho aut&ecirc;ntico, como elas dizem, &ldquo;vinhos sinceros feitos com amor&rdquo;.
