The Domaine des Canailles is located in à Ternand in the south of Beaujolais, in the "Pierres Dorées" sector at just 30 km northwest of Lyon. The 8 hectares of vines have been cultivated organically since 2005 and biodynamically since the vines were taken over in 2019 by Simon Pérot. They are all found on granite soils between 450 and 550 meters above sea level.

The story begins in 2010, date which the scoundrels meet in BTS sale of wines and spirits at agrave; Gaillac. In 2019, Simon took over the vines from Jean-Jacques Paire. The vinifications are done with respect for the grapes: native yeasts, no filtration or fining.
