A simple, sincere, rustic, simple, and therefore perfect wine. We enjoyed it to truffles x Pasta. Eye: dark cherry Nose: herbs, salt, forest Mouth: salt, cherry! And more cherry! Black and Green ones. We love it. Oh: perfect value

Vibrante dal primo sorso all'ultimo...un vino giovane mai scontato con una profondità sorprendente.
Mmmmmmm... Wouldn’t exactly class as sparkling...certainly a bit of residual carbonation, but it only adds to the funky intrigue!
Crunchy red fruit, bright acidity with that signature La Stoppa tertiary and medicinal notes. Served cool.
Rasberry and cherry, loads Of fruits and good amount of tannins. Really a good wine to be enjoyed with food but does ok on its own
Frutto, materia, ossigeno al naso.Polpa, lampone, acidità, liquirizia in bocca. Tannini che avvolgono e pungono. Vino del cuore.
(it's young, I know 😞, but there is a lot of thirst during this quarantine) A cellar that will need few introductions ... Almost 100 years of history, started by the lawyer Ageno, is now managed by the Pantaleoni family, located in Val Trebbiola, in the province of Piacenza. No fertilizer, no weeding and main attention for local vines: Barbera and Bonarda, Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, Ortrugo and Trebbiano. 🍇 60% Barbera and 40% Bonarda with aging only in steel and cement, indigenous yeasts and spontaneous fermentation. The thing I like about these wines is their change days after opening. Once I opened it, it was more focused on acidity, with a very strong bloody-irony note, and an "unripe" fruit made of black cherries, blueberries and mangosteen. After a few minutes, the vegetable and spicy part also made their moves in the glass: rhubarb, capers, white pepper, mustard seeds and an alcoholic tip that reminds me of propolis. On the second day, the "pungency" was milder and rounded by the scents of soil and humus, like when walking in a wood after a rainy day. Confirming its essence with a beautiful acidity and an almost "chewable" tannin that has not faded, a day after opening this wine continues to have a crazy persistence that leaves the memory of all its aromas in the mouth even after the last sip.
Evolved a lot over 4h. Cherries, plum... nice minerality. Paired with: magret and mushroom demi-glace.
