Vieilles vignes de 70 ans sur sol granito-siliceux. Légère sucrosité, jus concentré de fruits mûrs, du cassis et de la myrtille, pointe réglissée, touche finale sur prune mure, tanins veloutés, droit. Attention pas mal de gaz carbonique; assez fermé à l'ouverture, décanter 2h mini. Manque un peu d'ampleur et de longueur pour un grenache espagnol mais c'est certainement le but de se démarquer des vins standardisés de Castilla-León qui cognent... et c'est d'ailleurs la magie de ce vin frais et fruité qui titre quand même à 15 bons degrés d'alcool: on ne les sent pas du tout!
Unfortunately: acidity is over the top in a bad way, body is heavy and out of balance, no refinement, no enjoyment, no sparks. Probably too young and too rough. Tried to fixed it with time and cooling: no difference. Waste of money...
First day it was a full body wine. With a lovely acidity. Day two had some typical grenache oxidative notes. And today on day three the fruit is back! Acidity has followed an integration programm. Wich results in great well balanced wine with structure. Thanks for that little extra boost off happiness on a cold monday Senior Maestro!
