🍇 100% Gamay from the volcanic area of Auvergne, made of basaltic rocks, marnes and granite. Here Yvan Bernard, oenologist of the Beaune school, is cultivating since 2002 about ten hectares in the areas of Montpeyroux, La Sauvetat, Authezat, Corent and Boudes using a bio approach (certified since 2010) and in some plots even the biodynamic one. Spontaneous fermentation in steel, unfiltered and no SO2 added. It's a punk souk, with a purple crest like a juice made of wild blueberries. So here we go, the "acid trip" begins: watermelon, cranberries and raspberries that can't overcome the anarchist side of the sulfur aromas of the volcano. At the apex, it sways lightly in a path made of autumn leaves, cherry tomatoes, mint and black pepper. In the time of a sip, you immediately come back to the real world, feeling the embrace of its 14.5 degrees, but don't forget the tannins' and minerality's tickle on your tongue that reminds me the studs of the leather jacket this punk guy is wearing. You can cuddle him, but you'll never be able to control him 🤟🏻
C’est bon ! Juteux et profond, très légère sensation de petillance au début puis ça s’arrondit gentiment, ça reste bien en bouche, très agréable et frais. Une belle expression du gamay d’Auvergne aussi appelé gamay Saint-Romain.
Un vin d’Auvergne en mode terroir, des bouts de vignes travaillés en banlieue des villes. En magnum, c’est un liant intéressant de soirée entre amis.
