Vexebo Vin Located in a small village just outside Fredensborg in North Seeland. The 10 hectare farm was certified organic by danish authorities in 2004. It contains a broad range of animals, veggies and fruits. Vexebo Vin was started by artist Daniel Milan. The 1 hectare vineyard was planted in 2007 and the first vintage was produced in 2010. The wine was organic until 2013 where the whole production turned all natural. Handpicked organic grapes, natural fermentation, no sulphur, no filtration, no ads whatsoever. All wines are made on steel tanks. Vexebo Vin was the first producer of natural wine in Denmark, and it is sold to restaurants such as Geranium, noma, Amass, Kadeau, Koks. (In 2018 Vexebo Cider was established - natural cider production made on apples from the farm) The grape varieties are Solaris, Johanniter, Regent and Monarch. Wine portfolio includes: White, orange, rosé and pet nat. The wines changes from year to year depending on the grapematerial. A low intervention philosophy is carried out in the winery located not far from the vineyard itself. The vinyard has never been sprayed and is treated mostly by hand.
