It was the rebirth of the largest wine-growing area in Villaz which gave the hamlet its current name, “Les Vignes”.

The vineyards once represented an area of 4 hectares out of the 10 that the commune had, the Coteaux des Girondales currently cover 3 hectares.

Grape varieties:
Whites: Jacquère, Altesse, Roussanne and Chardonnay.
Blacks: Gamaret, Mondeuse, Pinot noir, Persian and Douce Noire.

Cultivation method:

The obvious environmental emergency and my convictions have naturally led the project towards certification of the vines in Organic Agriculture effective since 2018 and the certification of the wines in Organic wines since 2019.

Name:
As regulations do not allow vines located in the commune of Villaz to claim an AOP or an IGP, the estate's wines are therefore classified as Vin de France.
