The Bricchi agricultural company was founded in 2010 when Kishalay decided to follow in his grandfather's footsteps by taking back part of the family vineyards that had been rented out after the death of his grandfather Nello. Despite the few years that grandfather and grandson had to get to know each other, Kishalay learned and inherited from him a great passion for country life, an attention towards the sustainable cultivation of vines and the curiosity to give a face to those grapes that grandfather had planted and cultivated with so much respect. He therefore decides to enroll in viticulture and oenology and between one exam and another he carries out the organic cultivation of the vineyard, obtaining certification for those 4 hectares of property. He graduated in 2015 and immediately began the vinification of some masses to experiment and find the best expression of his white and red grapes. In 2020 the pandemic prevents him from participating in events and making his products known, the market stops and the whole world goes into lockdown. Encountering various difficulties due to the succession of quarantines and canceled fairs he decides to pause the transformation project and return to the countryside. At the end of 2020 he purchased 3 hectares of apple orchard and in 2021 4 hectares of olive grove. In 2022 he meets Silvia, the market seems to have recovered and the pandemic is just a bad memory and together they decide to get back to the transformation part. In 2023 their daughter Lea was born and the desire to get involved and make their products known explodes: they expand the types of wine produced, transform the apples into juice and cider and bottle the oil which was previously sold in bulk mainly to private individuals . Spontaneous fermentations with indigenous yeasts, no addition of products to correct the products and very low quantities of sulphites (<30mg), are the characteristics that the products have in common.
The idea of the name aims to remember and take back everything that which is was made and left by grandfather Nello.
The imprint is a sign of the past that goes towards the future: the peasant origins have been revived with a greater awareness of environmental protection, agronomic choices and transformation processes. The cornerstones of the company are the protection of a territory and its valorisation, the research and practice of increasingly sustainable agriculture. sustainable and revitalizing, the production of healthy and wholesome products.
