I visited again, this it was open! And I met the hard working and yet friendly and helpful people, tried their orange wine which was delightful, and it’s a shame they are not including it here. Currently they have a photography and poetry exhibition on their walls with LGBT theme. The crowd is also reflecting this vibe, so it’s a shame they don’t filter here as such in case someone is looking for such a place in Grenoble. The food was great and I will give them a special mention for their spanakopita, as a Greek person I was sceptical but they blew me away with the freshness of the ingredients and the citron aftertaste. Their price was down to earth both with their beer, wine and food that I tried. Overall this place was a pleasant surprise! It humble, authentic and diverse. I can’t recommend Les rutilantes enough!
