UNDERGROUND WINE ..... In Fara Vicentino and Breganze (VI) in the middle ground, between the enlarged Valpolicella, Soave and Valdobbiadene, Alberto Rigon of @matervi_rigon manages 3 hectares of vineyards promoting its territory by removing it to those who prefer instead to make wine with easy, industrial and corrupt methods or to the social cellars. Alberto's goal is to produce good, spontaneous, genuine and drinkable wines using the most natural techniques possible. Here then comes his underground wine, TAINOT 2018 blend of Vespaiola, tocai and Pinot Blanc refermented with his must. Vigorous citrus and fragrant foam where yeasty notes of wheat and bread intertwine with hints of honey, white peach and hay, with a slightly bitter almondy finish. Bubble, fruit, freshness and minerality in one fell swoop, carefree and joyful wine, lightness that relaxes, a nice drink in fluency, guarantor and gratifying.
